The Rooted Reset
Is not your soul sisters wellness retreat.
We have enough of those already popping off flawlessly (though there’s still something missing, imo). If you need a good rec on a yoga retreat, lemme know.

The Rooted Reset is also not a promise of strategy that ends up being another story of what someone else did once that was successful.
Because you cannot act on that. And, that’s not strategy, it’s a tactic.

It’s not even a Mastermind though I am a SUCKER for a roundtable so there will be elements of that.
I watched corporate leadership teams spin their wheels (and waste time & money) for 6+ months setting their annual strategic plan every single year.
The thing is… I know the strategic planning works. I got to stick around for that part too. But the time, energy, & money wasted can & should be avoided.
For you & I? It’s imperative we avoid such a waste because it’s not investor resources we’re wasting, it’s ours.
So, I brought everything we did for their 6 million dollar plans over 6 months & we’re gonna do it in two days.
Because the planning part is necessary.
The pause to reset & realign on where you’re taking this business & clearly defining the priorities, tactics & actions that will get you there?
That’s how you drown out the noise of everyone online telling you all the things you should be doing, just confusing you more…
Causing you to walk into January feeling behind everyone else.
Events these days are giving people mindset & energetic upgrades but no true strategy.
The ole throwing spaghetti at the wall, ya feel me?
Maybe a few tactics, maybe. But a tactic is not a strategy. A tactic is something like “you should start a substack because long form content is converting” after you hear from a speaker who 4x’d their substack readership but 1) they do not tell you HOW and 2) that can be done by anyone.
Which means it’s not personalized to you & your business. Which means it’s not strategy.
Excuse my tangent, I am a data & strategy nerd. I will show the receipts, the spreadsheets, the workflows.
Strategy is validating that adding that substack is a tactic you need to implement because it’s a smart part of your growth strategy depending on your entire situation - what you’re growing, who you’re trying to reach, & your most immediate priorities for doing so.
And the reality is, your situation is not mine. Nor is it that speaker with those fancy accolades.
The Rooted Reset is both
One day of annual strategic planning for your business.
One day of retreat style resetting for you, the one leading that business.
And every hour in between? That looks like community, connection, belly laughs, nerding the f*ck out over a new idea you have to differentiate yourself, spitballing ideas, the real stuff you know?
And, you will absolutely leave a better leader than you walked in…
Because this is the exact kind of strategic planning I did with tech startup founders in the corporate realm.
So I’ve seen the power in the pause, getting so for real about where you want to go and designing your path to get there, nailing your actions in order of priority so you walk into a new year with a clear path and confidence in your plan.
I just removed the 5 months of talking that leaders in corporate like to do because we solopreneurs & lean teams? We don’t have extra time, money, & energy to waste.
I’ll drop more details via email once they come.
What I do currently know:
Dates are Oct 7-10, 2026.
But Steph, that’s 4 days & you said 2? Yes, because you’ll arrive the evening of the 7th and settle in. The 8th we’ll have our strategic planning day, the 9th our reset retreat, and you’ll fly home after breakfast on Saturday.
Location is TBD
We’re currently scoping locations that hit this bada** business owners retreat in locations that are easily accessible from airports and have a few stellar options across the mountainous regions of the U.S.
The vibe is much more important than the specific city or state to us. We want outdoorsy, mountain or lakeside feel, and plenty of space for connection.
I know that you and me? We’re always on the move, never shying away from the WERK to grow our businesses.
BUT, if we’re not careful, that comes at the cost of neglecting ourselves. That’s why on Day 2, I built in the pause. Because high-achieving female founders need the power in the pause to reset, to fuel that strategy they’re about to implement.
Consider it the perfect blend to close one year & step into another. Like a leader.
You’re already going to take a day to plan the future of your business like a boss a** CEO, so…
You might as well do it in an intimate room full of other bada** women leading business too.
And why not toss in the conversations with depth? The wellness component to make sure you love on yourself while you love on your business?
Because that’s where true creativity and innovation starts.
And the connections & community you make will be the reason you carry the plan through the year.
